Hope all is well.
I am Bindhu Bhavani Market,recently booked my international trip with your agency.I am writing this email to dispute an amount of $250 CAD charged on my credit card on February 28,2024.I do not know the reason for why exactly I have been charged that amount with my authorization and I wasn't notified about until I have opened my credit card payment summary.
I have tried multiple times to contact your customer care to hear that they cannot do anything about it.
Also I have contacted the Airline,Qatar Airways and I have heard that it has to be dealt with by the travel agency.
For a person like myself $250 CAD isn't a small amount of money.I highly request you to refund my money.
Hoping my issue will be resolved soon.Thank you.

CheapOAir is a scam! I booked a flight for my brother from the Philippines to Canada.
The firsr few searches I made showed lower prices. But as soon as I confirm, the price jumps $1000+ higher. When I finally found one that didnt jump up, the flight to Canada and back to the Philippines had layovers in the US. There was no travel advisory that since it has a layover to the US for 2 hours, they would need to acquire C type transit visa.
Needless to say my brother and sister in law were told by the airlines that they will not be allowed to board without the transit visas. Our mother paid $2980+. And as a gesture of their sincere apology, they were giving us $50 to use for next booking. They dont want to cancel the flight or change the flight.
My sister on law talked to the airlines and were told to talk to CheapOAir to help us get the flight changed so they didnt need to have layovers to the US.
But they can only offer us $50. Lots of videos and complaints on Facebook about people being scammed by this company!

I have booked my trip to Houston via Cheapoair for the flight, hotel, and car rental. My flight were supposed at 7 pm, and I requested to pick up the car at 730 pm.
The flight arrived on time and till I could pick up my luggage and take the shuttle to go to the rental car section of the airport, it was 740 pm. When I arrived at the rental car booth, they told me this specific company that Cheapoair booked for me was outside the international airport, and I needed to take a cab and go there. When I was trying to the cab, the cab driver advised me that the company was closed by now. I made the call to the company's 800 number and it says the branch is closed.
Then I decided to rent a car from another rental company.
I was hoping I could resolve this with Cheapoair and when I contacted them after a few weeks, they told me I had not shown up and as a result, they charged me for the full amount of the two-day rental without using the car.
The rental car company office closes at 730 pm and that would be impossible for someone traveling internationally to make it. I believe I was mistreated by Cheapoair and my travel became very stressful due to their lack of attention to the arrival time.

I booked an Air Canada flight via Cheapo Air. I called Cheapo Air and explained that the name in the ticket did not match the name on the passport because one word was missing.
The agent told me that Air Canada did not allow a name correction like that and my only option was to cancel the ticket and to buy a new ticket or else the Airline would not allow me to get on the plane. The cost for the cancellation and new ticket would cost me additional hundreds of dollars. The agent said there was no other option so I had no choice but following his suggestions. After that, I called Air Canada and explained the situation.
They said that they could have just fixed the name and I would not have had to cancel the flight and buy a new ticket if CheapoAir had sent Air Canada the request to correct the name. I called CheapoAir again and told them that they should have presented the situation to Air Canada first before giving me false information and putting me into the position that cost me a lot of money.
I requested they would do something about it financially as it was clearly their lack of diligent supports but they refused to do anything about it! I have used CheapoAir many times but from now they have lost a costumer.

Resolved: Received very bad service by incompetent and unqualified Cheapoair agents
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. The company has contacted me by email and offered me a $100 US compensation 'as a gesture of good will'.I have accepted this offer knowing that I will not get anything if I turned it down.
The company transferred the money to my account, but instead of $100 US as promised, I was given $100 CAD, which is significantly less that what was originally promised.
This is another example of a deception method used by the company in dealing with the customers. This company is not trustworthy.
This is regarding booking 8189****. I received a terrible service by several of the agents a spoke to.
First, the agents kept putting me on hold for a very long time and as a result I spent more than four hours waiting for agents to solve the problem with my booking. The agents kept transferring me to other agents and I had to explain the problem again and again. The agents were completely incompetent, unqualified and didn't know what they were doing. They spoke with a very low voice with a heavy Indian accent that was very hard to hear and understand.
My connecting flight had been cancelled due to wild fires natural disaster situation in the area where I live yet they made me pay almost $600 Canadian dollars as a penalty for changing the itinerary, even though it was not my fault.
I have been using cheapoair and other travel agencies in the past several years and this has been the absolute worst service experience. It caused me and my spouse an emotional and psychological distress that affected our health.
I hope that some concrete actions can be taken about this situation so that other people do not have to go through the *** that your cheapoair agents have put me through. Thank you.Very

On Aug 14, 2023 on CheapOair Canada site I booked flight for me and my wife from Toronto (YYZ) to Belgrade (BEG), choosing dates from Sep 12, 2023 to Oct 03, 2023.The price was C$1499 per person. After I provided credit card details and finished booking, message appeared that: FLIGHT IS NOT AVAILABLE, BUT DONT WORRY WE ARE NOT GOING TO CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD.
However, on my credit card company (PC Financial) site it shows the 3rd day in the row that charge C$2984 is pending.
When I spoke to CheapOair customer service representatives, they said my booking is not shown in the file (!?).
I am very much upset due to this issue and am expecting this faulty charge to be A.S.A.P.

My name is William de Jesu Santos, Canadian Citizen, I am a Senior Person, with 61 Years Behind My Back, so that you believe me a Stupid, Moron or Imbecile, that this Platform for the Sale of Air Tickets on the Internet, Loves me Make a 3rd Change, on the days of the Flight already Scheduled, Buy 2 Air Tickets and pay the Fair for only 2 One-Way Tickets, For June 05/2023, with Flight Takeoff from the city of Cartagena, at 6 :00 AM, with 5 days remaining for the scheduled departure day from CARTAGENA-BOGOTA-TORONTO, they send me an Email, in which they tell me to accept the Flight Change because according to you, I was not going to be able to make the Connection With the Bogota-Toronto Flight, it seemed strange to me, because they reschedule another Flight, with the same Reservation # and with the same Schedule of the previous reservation, but for June 04/2023, now You Send me another Email, Demanding that I must Change the Flight Again, but for June 09/2023, with the same Reservation number, with the same time and with the same Connection... So, I wonder?...

I ask and manage everything with the Avianca Airlines in Cartagena and they tell me that the problem is on your part, that you play with the passengers at your whim, and provide a bad service to your Air Ticket Buyers through your website and any platform that you choose online, I call the Airline Company of my Country directly and they inform me that everything is fine, that my Flight is Scheduled for Sunday/June/04/2023, Departing at 6:00 AM with arrival at Bogota at 7:29 A.M. a Layover of 1 hour and 31 minutes, with Departure from Bogota at 9:00 A.M. with Destination Toronto-Person International, Arriving at 4:20 P.M (Toronto time). You DO NOT have the Knowledge of Why I must Arrive before June 06, 2023 to the City of Toronto.
We Seniors Live in an Ontario Government Apartment and I am part of the Residents of the Calvary House Building and the York Housing Program and I must arrive before that Date, because I should not be more than 90 days away from the Vacation Apartment, because York Housing takes away the Benefit of the Apartment in which I live with my Wife.
And if I lose the Markham City Apartment, I hold them Liable for Damages in a Court of Ontario Superior Court.
So... You will have to Assume and Clarify this Abuse to the Competent Authorities, I will Report them, Getting off the Plane in the City of Toronto = Ontario
Be Serious and Responsible with the People who Buy Air Tickets on the Internet.

I have tried very hard to find a cheapoar.ca company contact to file my complaint. No success whatsoever.
The contact phone that you have provided, 1 888 420 **** is inaccessible.
The other phone number on cheapoair website 1 437 317 **** does not allow for an option where I can talk to someone who is competent about my complaint. It looks like there is no way anyone can file a complaint directly to the cheapoair company.
